Pancakes are one of the easiest breakfast food you can make from scratch. A lot of the times my mom would make pancakes from the box but there were those special days she would make them from scratch. She would make them so good and each time I knew that she was making the pancakes from scratch I would get so excited. I would notice that she would not measure her ingredients don’t know how she would do it, my mom had that special touch when it came to food.
I associate pancakes to slow weekend mornings where everyone gets to sleep in, nobody is in a rush to go anywhere (like I said EVERYONE get’s to sleep in so breakfast turns into brunch in this household). Love how these pancakes came out so easy and also inexpensive to make most of these ingredients you’ll probably have on hand.
- On a note this batch does make a lot, so if you don’t have a big family you can always freeze the rest and have during the week.
- If you don’t want to make the whole batch you can also cut the recipe in half.
