Description

These Double Chocolate Muffins are deliciously chocolatey, moist, and sweet. It is made with milk chocolate chips, not semi-sweet chocolate chips, which gives it extra chocolate goodness.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk, room temperature
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees, prepare your muffin tins with muffin liners, and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl place flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and sugar; mix well and set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl place butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture; mix until well combined but don’t over mix.
  5. Fill the prepared muffin tins 3/4 of the way or all the way to the top.
  6. Bake for 20 mins until the toothpick comes out clean.
