Description

This simple Homemade Oatmeal Cereal will change how you view regular cereal. Only 4 ingredients will give you a crunchy, nutty, and perfectly sweetened cereal. 


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or agave, honey, any liquid sweetener)
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted (or any light flavored oil )
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy or any nut butter)
  • 3 cup rolling oats (or quick oats)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees, line your cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl place maple syrup, coconut oil, and peanut butter; mix well.
  3. Add oats to the peanut butter mixture; mix well until all of the oats are well coated.
  4. Place the oat mixture onto the prepared cookie sheet and evenly spread.
  5. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, then take out mix it. Then bake for another 15 minutes. You want it to be dry and toasty.

Notes

  • Make sure it has cooled completely before storing.
  • It can be stored in an airtight container or mason jar for up to 2 weeks.
