“Perfect” Chocolate Chip Cookies

Description

This cookies are soft and with the perfect amount of chocolate chips. You will no longer buy store bought cookies.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup soften butter (or 2 sticks)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 oz bag chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional )


Instructions

  1. Pre-heat 375 degrees
  2. In a bowl mix flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder, set aside.
  3. In another bowl mix butter, brown sugar and sugar.
  4. In same bowl as the butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  6. Add chocolate chips and walnuts.
  7. Line your cookie sheets with parchment paper and scoop cookie dough onto the cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 mins, until golden brown around the edges.

Notes

  • When measuring your flour it’s best to first fluff the flour with a fork. Then spoon your flour onto your measuring cup, then level your cup with a knife.
