Description

Chickpeas are my favorite bean and this Quick Roasted Chickpea made over the Stovetop is the best way to enjoy them.


Ingredients

Scale

2 tablespoons butter

1 15-can chickpeas

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon thyme

1 teaspoon paprika


Instructions

  1.  Melt butter in a 2-3 quart pan over medium heat (be careful not to burn it, as it melts quickly).
  2. Drain and rinse chickpeas.
  3. Mix well with chickpeas, salt, garlic powder, thyme, and paprika. Saute for 5-8 minutes until the chickpeas are toasty.
