When it comes to smoothies I feel there is no recipe you need to follow, because anything can be put in a smoothie. It’s one of those foods you can’t mess-up. But, you can get ideas of what to put into a smoothie. And here I’m sharing with you a Simple Vegan Protein Smoothie.
Personally, when it comes to smoothies I like to keep it dairy-free. It’s just a personal preference. Nowadays I have seen more people going vegan which I think is great. I’ve known about the vegan diet many years ago and I did go vegan about five years ago. I don’t consider myself vegan because I’m not 100% vegan. My goal throughout my day is trying to get in as many veggies as I can.
After a workout, I like to have a protein smoothie without having to use powders as my protein source, and this one is one of my favorites.
So where is the protein?
The protein is in the tofu, with 3 oz of tofu you get in about 7 grams of protein.
