This Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal will change how you view plain old oatmeal. It’s warm, just enough sweetness, and with the chopped apples takes it to a whole new level.
Oatmeal is that one food that a little goes a long way; it’s inexpensive, cooks fairly quickly, and is nutrient-dense. This is why I’m always stocked up with rolling oats in my pantry.
My husband likes to buy those packaged oatmeals that you can make in the microwave because they are convenient for him when I’m not home. But I seriously dislike them because the serving size is small, has a ton of sugar, and low nutrition value.
There at times, oatmeal can be a bit boring. So I’m always trying to come up with various toppings to make it more interesting. So far, this recipe has become a winner in this household, been making it quite often in the last couple of weeks.
