Description
These chicken drum sticks require a little oil, simple spices that leave a nice crispy coat without breading.

- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley (or 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley)
- 2 lbs chicken drum sticks
- 2–3 tablespoons oil (of your choice)
Instructions
- Pre-heat to 425 degrees, prepare a sheet pan with parchment paper, and set it aside.
- In a small bowl, add black pepper, garlic powder, salt, paprika, and dried parsley.
- Brush the chicken drum sticks with oil, then coat them with the spice mix. This gives them a bit of a crisp coating without breading them.
- Place the coated chicken onto your prepared sheet pan and into the oven.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then turn over and bake for another 20 minutes until your thermometer reaches 165 degrees.
