It’s berry season and it’s time to make some Delicious Mixed Berry Lemonade. Super easy to make, your family will love you for making this one.
It’s berry season and all berries are on sale. Which is awesome, this is the time to stock up. This last week when I went to the grocery I saw the berries where $1 for a small package, and regularly there about $3. You can not say that is not a deal.
I froze about half of the 36 packages that I bought and plan on using them for smoothies. A 1/4 of the packages the kids ate straight out of the containers (after a good wash, of course). And the rest I made this lemonade which they absolutely loved.
Let’s start making this Delicious Mixed Berry Lemonade
- First, you want to make your simple syrup by placing an equal part of sugar and water in a small saucepan, bring to a boil until sugar dissolves. Let cool completely before you use it.
- Second, you want to puree your berries by placing 1 cup mixed berries in a blender and blend. Then strain through a strainer to remove the seeds, unless the seeds don’t bother you then you can skip this step.
- Second, juice your lemons.
- In a half-gallon jar, mixed berry puree, lemon juice, water, and simple syrup.
- Pour over ice and enjoy.
