Description

This Easy Breakfast Sausage Recipe is perfect for any weekend breakfast. The sage makes it savory, and the brown sugar gives it a hint of sweetness.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon dried sage


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl place, ground pork, brown sugar, salt, garlic powder, and dried sage; mix well.
  2. Begin shaping patties; measure about 2 oz of the pork mixture and shape sausage into a patty.
  3. In a medium pan over medium to high heat, add a little oil; once it's hot, add sausage patty and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until no longer pink inside.

Notes

  • This recipe makes about 9 2oz patties.
  • The measurements with the spices do not have to be perfect, you can add or subtract as you wish.
