Spaghetti– You can also use any shaped pasta: angel hair, shells, elbows, or rotini.
Bay leaf– The bay leaf gives the pasta a great flavor. I can not make pasta without it.
Avocado oil– You can use any neutral oil, such as canola or vegetable.
Kielbasa- I used polska kielbasa for this recipe, but you can use any kielbasa flavor.

Crushed tomatoes– If you don’t have crushed tomatoes, you can use diced tomatoes. I like to use crushed tomatoes because they make the sauce less chunky.
Chicken broth– Here, you can use vegetable broth instead.
Instructions
1. Fill a 4-quart pot with water; add a bay leaf and salt. Over high heat, bring to a boil, then add spaghetti pasta. Bring the pot down to a simmer. Cook for 10-12 minutes until al dente.
2. Once the spaghetti is done, drain and set aside.
3. Add oil and kielbasa in another 4-quart pot over medium to high heat. Cook until heated through, 4-5 minutes, then set aside.
4. In the same pot, add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
5. Then add oregano, Italian seasoning, and paprika—heat through for 1 minute.
6. Add crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, and kielbasa sausage. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
7. Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce and mix well.
