Description
This cinnamon applesauce is simple to make, with only 3 ingredients you will never go back to store bought applesauce.

- 2 pounds red apples or 6 medium red apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- In a 2-quart pot, place peeled and cut apples, cinnamon, and water.
- Place pot over med to high heat, bring to a boil, then to a simmer for 25 minutes, until the apples are fully cooked.
- Once the apples are fully cooked, turn off the stove and begin mashing the apples with a potato masher or immersion blender, until smooth.
Notes
- Place remaining applesauce in an airtight container and place in the refrigerator for up to a week.Â
