Ingredients and Substitutions

Butter– You can use salted or unsalted butter. If you don’t have butter, you can also use margarine.

Chickpeas– Here I used canned chickpeas, you can also use your own cooked chickpeas.

Salt

Garlic powder

Thyme

Paprika

Instructions

  1.  Melt butter in a 2-3 quart pan over medium heat (be careful not to burn it, as it melts quickly).
  2. Drain and rinse chickpeas.
  3. Mix well with chickpeas, salt, garlic powder, thyme, and paprika. Saute for 5-8 minutes until the chickpeas are toasty.

1 15-can chickpeas

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon thyme

1 teaspoon paprika


Instructions

  2. Drain and rinse chickpeas.
