Ingredients and Substitutions
Butter– You can use salted or unsalted butter. If you don’t have butter, you can also use margarine.
Chickpeas– Here I used canned chickpeas, you can also use your own cooked chickpeas.
Salt
Garlic powder
Thyme
Paprika
Instructions
- Melt butter in a 2-3 quart pan over medium heat (be careful not to burn it, as it melts quickly).
- Drain and rinse chickpeas.
- Mix well with chickpeas, salt, garlic powder, thyme, and paprika. Saute for 5-8 minutes until the chickpeas are toasty.
