Description
This Simple Meatball Recipe is basic but carries a lot of flavors. The mix of ground beef and ground pork gives it a great texture.

			- 1 lb ground beef
 - 1 lb ground pork
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - 2 teaspoon garlic powder
 - 1 teaspoon black pepper
 - 3 teaspoon dried oregano
 - 1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
 - 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
 - 1 large egg

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
 - Place ground beef and pork in a medium bowl; mix until well combined.
 - Mix well with salt, garlic powder, black pepper, dried oregano, plain bread crumbs, and parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
 - Mix the spice mixture into the ground meat mixture; mix until well combined.
 - Add the egg to the meat mixture and mix until well.
 - Begin shaping the meat mixture into small meatballs. It is unnecessary, but I like to weigh my meatballs because I can never get them the same shape. Considering them to be about 1.5 oz, you will get about 28 meatballs.
 - Place a little oil into a medium pan over medium to high heat. Begin browning the meatballs for 1-2 minutes on each side. You are not thoroughly cooking them on this step; you are only browning them from the outside.
 - In a 9 x 13 pan, place browned meatballs in the oven; bake for 15-20 minutes until the center of the meatball reaches 165 degrees.

Notes
- Store any remaining meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
