Description

The texture and flavor of this Vegetarian Taco Meat are just the same as ground beef. Your family will not notice the difference.


Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz can lentils (drained and rinsed )
  • 1 cup vegan crumbles
  • 3 tablespoon water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin


Instructions

  1. In a 2 quart pot over medium to high heat, place lentils, vegan crumbles, water, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and ground cumin; heat through 3-5 minutes.

Notes

  • Any remaining can be placed in an airtight container and placed in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
