What I love about this recipe is, it can be made in less than 10 minutes, it can be used not only for tacos but for many other foods, and it’s also healthy for you.

Ingredients

  • Can lentils– Drain and rinse.
  • Vegan crumbles– Vegan crumbles are a meat-free alternative to ground beef; they can be found in the frozen section of your grocery store. 
  • Water
  • Garlic powder
  • Black pepper
  • Paprika
  • Ground cumin

Instructions

  1. In a 2 quart pot over medium to high heat, place lentils, vegan crumbles, water, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and ground cumin; heat through 3-5 minutes. 

Notes

  • Any remaining can be placed in an airtight container and placed in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

  • 1 cup vegan crumbles
  • 3 tablespoon water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin


Instructions
