Description

This recipe is delicious; these Whole Wheat Pancakes are moist, sweet, and fluffy.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 3 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup oil (I use vegetable oil, or any oil would work.)
  • 2 cups water


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, place flour, baking powder, salt, and brown sugar; mix well.
  2. In another medium bowl, place eggs, vanilla, oil, and water; mix well.
  3. Slowly add the flour mixture to the water mixture; mix well.
  4. Let the batter rest for at least 15 minutes.
  5. In a medium skillet over medium to high heat, add a little oil.
  6. Once the skillet is hot, place â…“ cup of pancake batter to the skillet.
  7. Brown on one side, flip and brown on the other.
