This 3 Cheese Ground Beef Lasagna is simple to make with basic ingredients and the flavors marry together perfectly. It makes a great make-ahead dinner for busy weeknights.
There are endless ways you can make lasagna. There is no right or wrong way of making it. You can add spinach to the cheese, or sausage and mushrooms to the spaghetti sauce. Use what you on hand or use whatever ingredients you like.

Ingredients
- Lasagna pasta
- Spaghetti- You can use store-bought regular spaghetti sauce, or I have a recipe here, Quick and Easy Spaghetti Sauce.
- Ground Beef
- Salt– To season the ground beef.
- Pepper– To season the ground beef.
- Ricotta cheese
- Mozzarella cheese– I prefer shredding this cheese myself, the pre-shredded ones that come in the bag seem to dry to me. But if that what you have by all means use it.
- Parmesan cheese– You can buy the block and shredded or buy the one that comes already shredded in a container.
- Egg
- Dried parsley
Instructions
- Cook lasagna according to package; set aside.
- In a medium bowl, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, and dried parsley; mix well and set aside.
- In a medium pan over medium to high heat, place ground beef, season with salt and pepper to taste, cook until no longer pink drain the fat, if any.
- In a medium pot over medium to high heat, place spaghetti sauce and cooked ground beef; heat through.
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a 9×13 baking pan, start assembling the lasagna.
- Pour 1 cup of spaghetti sauce on the bottom of the pan, then layer 3 sheets of lasagna pasta, pour ½ cup spaghetti sauce on top, then add ½ of the cheese mixture, and then another 3 sheets of lasagna pasta; repeat till all of it is done.
- Place prepared lasagna into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is all melted and slightly browned on top.
