Let’s start making Super Simple Beef and Bean Burrito Recipe

Ingredients

Oil- You can use any neutral oil, canola, vegetable, coconut, or avocado oil.

Onion

Ground beef- For most of my ground beef recipes, I use 93/7% fat. But you can use a higher percentage of fat. If you choose to use a higher percentage of fat once it’s cooked, just make sure you remove the excess fat after step one.

Taco seasoning

Refried beans

Shredded cheddar cheese- You can use any type of cheese of your choice, such as mozzarella, pepper jack, or montery jack.

Tortillas

Instructions

  1. In a medium pan over medium to high heat, add oil, and once the oil is hot, add onions and ground beef, beginning to break apart with a meat chopper; cook for 8-10 minutes until the ground beef is browned.
  2. Once the ground beef is fully cooked, add the taco seasoning packet and water; mix well. Bring to a boil, then down to a simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. In another pan or pot over medium to high heat, place refried beans and heat them through.
  4. In a medium skillet over medium to high heat, begin heating the tortillas for 15-20 seconds on each side; you want them to be pliable.
  5. Let’s begin to assemble the burritos; on a tortilla, place a spoonful or two of refried beans, then a spoonful of or two of ground beef, then sprinkle shredded cheese; begin to roll it into a burrito.
