This Easy Breakfast Sausage Recipe is perfect for any weekend breakfast. The sage makes it savory, and the brown sugar gives it a hint of sweetness.
Whenever I would make sausage for breakfast, and of course, it would be with pancakes and scrambled eggs. When my husband would pour syrup over his pancakes, he would also pour it over his sausage; at the time, I thought of it as “that’s a bit different”. That was the time I began to differentiate between regular sausage and breakfast sausage. Regular sausage is savory, and breakfast sausage is savory but with a hint of sweetness.
I love how easy and quick this sausage recipe is; there is absolutely no need to buy the pre-packaged breakfast sausage. It takes less than 5 minutes to put together and tastes so much better. And it is also healthier option.
