Easter is around the corner, about a week away and what I remember about easter growing up is these eggs. My mom would always make them. It makes me sad to say I never knew how my mom would make them, but they were always delicious. We also had a big extended family that would come over, so we threw A LOT of eggs.
The first time I made this recipe, the kids really liked them. They wouldn’t stop eating them, can’t blame them it is very difficult just to eat one or two. I feel I could eat the whole tray by myself.

Ingredients
- Eggs
- Mayo
- Apple cider vinegar- You can also use regular white vinegar if you have it on hand.
- Black pepper
- Paprika
Instructions
- In a medium pot over high heat, place eggs and cover with water completely.
- Once it comes to a boil, turn off the heat and cover the pot; leave it covered for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, remove the eggs from the pot and rinse them under cold water to cool them down.
- After they have cooled, begin removing the shell.
- Cut eggs in half lengthwise, remove the yolk, and place in a small bowl.
- In the bowl with the yolk, add mayo, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, and paprika; mix well.
- You can do this step two different ways; in a zip lock bag, place the egg yolk mix into the bag, cut the tip and fill the egg whites; or with a spoon, fill the egg whites with the egg yolk mixture.
- Top the deviled eggs with a sprinkle of paprika.

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
