Are you looking for Easy Cinnamon Oatmeal Muffins that are fluffy, moist, and perfectly sweetened? You have found the perfect recipe here.

When the kids come home from school, I always like to leave a snack ready for them. Muffins have always been my go-to because they are calorically and nutrient-dense. They need something that will keep them satisfied but not full until dinner.

I’m not a baking expert, but below are some of my tips on bringing my dairy products to room temperature. Also, it’s what has worked for me for many years.

Why do you need your milk and eggs to be at room temperature?

Having your milk and eggs at room temperature helps your baked goods come out fluffy. When your milk and eggs are cold, your baked goods will tend to be denser.

Which is the best way to bring your milk and eggs to room temperature?

The best way to bring your dairy products to room temperature is to leave them out on your counter. If I plan to make any baked goods, I first take out my dairy products to slowly come to room temperature. About 1 hour ahead of time seems to work for me.

How do you bring your milk and eggs to room temperature when you are short on time?

  • Microwave your milk in 10-second increments until it’s no longer cold. After each 10 seconds, check the milk by inserting your finger to check the temperature. Be careful; you do not want the milk to be hot.
  • Cover eggs in a small bowl completely with lukewarm tap water. t them sit in the water for a few minutes.
