Let’s start making Broccoli Parmesan Cheese with Bacon made in the oven
Ingredients
Broccoli– When buying the head of broccoli, I also use the stalks. I heard many people through them away, but they are edible. Cut them into smaller pieces and cook them along with the florets.
Parmesan cheese– I like shaved parmesan cheese for this recipe, but you can also use grated parmesan cheese.
Oil– Any neutral oil will work here. Avocado, coconut, olive, or vegetable oil.
Chopped Bacon– I like to use fresh bacon, cook it myself and chop it up. But you can also use store-bought bacon bits.
Instructions
1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees, line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, and set aside.
2. In a big bowl, place the broccoli florets, add oil and give it a toss. Make sure the broccoli gets a good coat of oil.
3. Place broccoli on the prepared cookie sheet, sprinkle parmesan cheese, and chopped bacon.
4. Bake for 15 minutes for slightly undercooked broccoli with a little bit of a crunch, or bake for 20 minutes for fully cooked broccoli with a softer texture.
Note
Place any remaining in an airtight container and the refrigerator for up to five days.
