Summer is here, which means teenagers are rummaging in the kitchen for snacks. These easy 3 ingredient peanut butter oatmeal balls are great to have on hand for an anytime snack.

Lately, I have been struggling with snacks. What to buy? What will the kids eat? And keeping prices in mind? These food prices have really thrown me for a loop, and I know I’m not the only one.
Why make this recipe?
- It makes the perfect anytime snack for a pick-me-up. You have peanut butter, an excellent source of fat and protein; oats, a source of fiber; and honey, which is sweet and an excellent antioxidant.
- It makes a great meal prep snack. They keep well in the refrigerator and freezer.
- Importantly even the kids can make these independently. Kids doing things on their own is always a plus.

Substitutions
- If you don’t have rolling oats, you can use quick oats.
- If you don’t have peanut butter, you can use almond butter or any nut or seed butter will work.

Let’s start making Easy 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Balls





Ingredients
- Peanut butter– I use crunchy peanut butter because I like how it gives it a crunch. But you can definitely use the smooth peanut butter.
- Raw honey– Raw honey is my favorite use, but you can definitely use regular honey, the one that comes in the teddy bear.
- Rolling oats– I always have rolling oats on hand, but if you have quick oats, you can definitely do that instead.
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, place peanut butter, raw honey, and rolling oats; mix well.
- With a tablespoon and a half cookie scooper, scoop out the mixture into balls. Roll them in your hand into a smooth ball.
- Place the balls in a refrigerator for about an hour for them to firm up.
How to store
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
