Easy 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Oatmeal Balls for an Anytime Snack

Lately, I have been struggling with snacks. What to buy? What will the kids eat? And keeping prices in mind? These food prices have really thrown me for a loop, and I know I’m not the only one.

Why make this recipe?

  • It makes the perfect anytime snack for a pick-me-up. You have peanut butter, an excellent source of fat and protein; oats, a source of fiber; and honey, which is sweet and an excellent antioxidant.
  • It makes a great meal prep snack. They keep well in the refrigerator and freezer.
  • Importantly even the kids can make these independently. Kids doing things on their own is always a plus.

Substitutions

  • If you don’t have peanut butter, you can use almond butter or any nut or seed butter will work.

Ingredients

  • Peanut butter– I use crunchy peanut butter because I like how it gives it a crunch. But you can definitely use the smooth peanut butter.

  • Rolling oats– I always have rolling oats on hand, but if you have quick oats, you can definitely do that instead.
