Sesame Oil and Balsamic Vinegar Dressing

When it comes to salad dressing it has been years since I have bought a bottle of store bought dressing. I stopped buying bottle salad dressing after I had my daughter (who is now 15) because I became very strict with my calorie intake trying to lose that extra weight. In order to cut back on extra calories I cut out dressing in my salads (I also cut out many other things at the time but this was just one of them).

Many years later I started to miss the dressing in my salads and with that I began my search for a good salad dressing.

I started looking at the ingredient list behind the bottles of dressing and became concerned with what was in those bottles. That’s when I began my search of a good made from scratch salad dressing.

Here are my guide lines for salad dressing, minimal ingredients and ingredients that I already have on hand.

What I have learned about salad dressings, is they require no time to make and you can add just about anything as long as it taste good to you.

Here I came up with this recipe by putting 3 ingredients together because that’s all I had at the time. But it has become one of my favorite salad dressings at the moment.

I bought sesame oil for something else I had made. And one day I decided to use it as a salad dressing. It was the best thing I did, I love sesame oil it has this nutty taste. I have used olive oil but I just don’t like the taste.
