Cucumber, celery, and spinach

The new year is here and what do most people want to do for the new year? Is eat better, take control of their health, and make better choices in general. Here I would like to share with you 3 Juices to Start the New Year.

Most of the time people that begin to eat more healthy, want to jump in right away. And majorty of the time they fail. Surely when eating unhealthy for so long, to eat healthy the next day. Is not easy on the body and mind.

The best way to begin to eat better is to incorporate fresh vegetable juices. I’m not talking about a juice fast, I’m talking about incorporating 16 oz of fresh vegetable juice throughout your day. It can be in at any time of day that fits best for you. I have my juice for lunch, with a small snack.

I typically only juice vegetables and the only fruit are apples. This is for the juices I make for myself.

Why vegetables only?

Vegetables are a lot harder to incorporate into your diet in large amounts. Therefore, juicing your vegetables makes it so much easier to incorporate many at one time. Be prepared with people who will have that debate with you, that you are taking away all of the fiber from the vegetable when you juice them. This is true, but also you’re putting nutrients straight into your bloodstream.

Why apples only?

Apples are always accessible, no need to wait for them to ripen. As a matter of fact, hydration is increased when the apples are juiced. I will add an apple here and there to my juices, to give it just enough sweetness.

Fruit contains a lot of sugar, don’t get me wrong fruits are good for you. But when you are juicing fruit the sugars are more condensed. So it becomes a lot easier to overdo it on the sugar by juicing only fruit.
