Savory Black Bean Soup

This Savory Black Bean Soup requires few ingredients, but it’s packed with flavor. Cumin and chipotle powder are the secret ingredients definitely and is definitely a crowd-pleaser.

This soup has become one of my husband’s favorites. He is a picky eater, to really like this soup, which means it is great. Whenever I make it, I’m always surprised by how good it is and how simple it is to make.

It makes a great weeknight dinner because it’s made in the slow cooker. All you have to do is remember to soak your beans overnight and place the beans with the rest of the ingredients into the slow cooker in the morning. And their dinner is made.
