Simple Sweet Ground Turkey Chili

Typically I think of chili as savory with maybe a bit of a spice to it, but once I tried this sweet one, I was quite impressed. Even my kids really liked it, which turned out to be a big hit.

Hey, is anyone here into football? We are big football fans, so it’s definitely a holiday here when it comes to the Super Bowl. It can get pretty intense in this household during the game. Can we talk about superstition? I truly believe the biggest superstitious people are sports fans. Say your team wins, you are wearing a certain shirt, and you don’t wear the same shirt the next they play and lose. Yup, it’s your fault they lost.

How to thicken turkey chili?

The tomato paste is what helps thicken your turkey chili. If it is still not thick enough, you can make a slurry with equal amounts of flour and water. A good ratio would be one tablespoon of flour to 1 tablespoon of water for this recipe. Mix that in and let it simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes.

How long does turkey chili last in the refrigerator?

Store chili in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
